Corrupted Shortcut to the Excel Program

Solution: If the problem only occurs when you start the Excel program, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, point to Search, and then click For Files or Folders. 2. In the Search for files or folders named box, type Excel.exe. 3. In the Look in list, click My Computer, and then click Search Now. 4. After the Excel.exe file is found, double-click the file to start Microsoft Excel. Note The typical location of the Excel.exe file depends on what version you have installed.
