Sorting Word Lists
Posted by - NA - on 30 March 2006 06:57 AM
Solution:

Although everyone knows that you can sort Excel data, many people don't realize that you can also sort data in Word. Enter the data as shown here, pressing Tab twice between the name and the price.
Pears $1.29
Oranges $1.19
Kiwis $1.10
Bananas $1.49
Apples $0.99

Now select all the data and choose Table|Sort. When the dialog box opens, accept the default and click OK. This will put the data into alphabetical order and keep the prices aligned with the correct fruit.
