Editing In Excel.

Solution: By default, double clicking an Excel cell opens it for editing. Is it possible to change this so that double clicking a cell does nothing? To eliminate the double-click editing feature, run Excel and choose Tools/Options. When the Options dialog box opens, click the Edit tab. Deselect the check box labeled "Edit directly in cell" and click OK to close the dialog box and save your selection. 1 Double click on the cell and retype or 2.
