Solution: Suppose you have data in cell A1 that you would like to hide from the rest of the world. To hide that data, click cell A1 and then choose Format/Cells. When the Format Cells dialog box opens, click the Numbers tab and then select Custom from the "Category" list. Now, double-click in the "Type" entry box and type in three semicolons (;;;). Click OK to close the dialog box and continue. The data in cell A1 is still there, and will work in calculations, but it isn't visible. | |
