Word's Formatting Marks
Posted by - NA - on 01 April 2006 02:16 AM
Solution:

Word's formatting marks are not displayed by default. However, you might want to consider displaying them to help you better see the structure of your documents. For example, with all the formatting marks displayed, you can see how many spaces there are between words, you can see the paragraph marks, and you can see the tabs.
To turn on the formatting mark display, choose Tools/Options. When the Options dialog box opens, click the View tab. Under "Formatting marks" select the check box labeled "All." Or you can select only those check boxes that represent the marks you want to see. After you make your selection, click OK to close the dialog box.
