Footnote or Endnote use a custom format

Solution: 1. On the Insert menu, point to Reference, and then click Footnote. 2. Click Footnotes or Endnotes. 3. Select whether to create your own custom mark or use a symbol for a custom mark. Do one of the following: 4. In the Custom mark box, enter a mark. 5. Click Symbol to insert a built-in symbol. 6. Click Insert. Note: You cannot use a keyboard shortcut to insert custom footnotes or endnotes. | |
