Method 1:
Close and Return to the E-mail Message
After you insert a Microsoft Word Document object and create your Word document, do not click Exit on the File menu. Instead, click Close & Return to .

Method 2:
Attach Your Word Document to the E-mail Message
Create your document in Word, and then attach the document to your e-mail message.

To attach a Word document to an e-mail message, use the following steps:
1. In Word, create, save, and close the document that you want to send with your e-mail message.
2. In Microsoft Outlook, on the File menu, point to New, and then click Mail Message.
3. Move the insertion point into the message area.
4. On the Insert menu, click File.
5. Click the Word document you want to send with the e-mail message, and then click Insert.
Your Word document will be attached to your e-mail message and will appear as a Word document icon.
