I'm trying to drag my text to a new position on the slide, but I don't get the pointer or gray box that indicates I can drag the text.

Solution: Drag-and-drop editing might be turned off. On the Tools menu, click Options. On the Edit tab, select the Drag-and-drop text editing check box. Now, when you select text on the slide and point to it, you'll see the pointer, and when you click, a gray box will appear, letting you know you can drag the text. | |
