Attachments are missing when a message is received in Outlook 2000.

Solution: To temporarily workaround this problem, do one of the following: • Upgrade to Microsoft Word 2000. • Do not use Word as your e-mail editor. • Use a different mail format. NOTE: If you use Outlook Rich Text Format (RTF) as your e-mail format, attachments are also removed if your mail server does not support RTF. To disable using Word as your e-mail editor: 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab. 2. On the Mail Format tab, click to clear the Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages check box. To use a different mail format: 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab. 2. On the Mail Format tab, change "Send in this message format" to Plain Text or HTML. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a. | |
